Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Timings: 09.30am – 5pm on each of the 2 days
We’re very excited that Christine Craig of La Lavende is back in the kitchen. She’s going to show us how to create her Bouquet of Sugar Flowers made up of Ranunculus, Roses, Hydrangea, Berries, Ivy and Hosta Leaves. Stunning! Christine is also an absolute wonder at dusting sugar flowers to make them even more realistic and this is the class to learn all about that. Other skills to be learned are the best tools to use, how to colour sugar florist paste, how to cut out petals and leaves freehand and with cutters followed by wiring, veining, shaping, drying, glazing and taping them together….then you learn to arrange them into a bouquet. All in 2 days!
Included in the class fees are lunch, plenty refreshments, materials, use of most equipment and a box to take away all completed sugar flowers. Please note that you will be required to bring along some cutters and veiners for this class. Details will be provided on booking.
A deposit of £100.00 will secure a place with final payment expected on 21 May 2019. Please email us if you would like to pay by instalments.
