Ceri DD Griffiths

Ceri Griffiths is based in Cardiff in Wales and is one of the world’s leading 'lights' in modern royal icing techniques. The author of three award winning books on royal icing: Squires Guide to Making Iced Flowers, Squires Guide to Making More Iced Flowers, and Border Inspirations, his work regularly features in international cake decorating magazines.

He creates his own online tutorials and teaches contemporary English Over Piping on Craftsy. He is the ambassador for Katy Sue Moulds and makes regular television programmes called Creative Cakes with Ceri Griffiths on Hochanda TV.  A gold medal winner at worldwide cake decorating competitions several times over, he is now a judge at the annual Cake International in Birmingham, UK.  Ceri travels extensively sharing his craft and we are delighted that he teaches modern Royal Icing techniques in our kitchen.

Faye Cahill

Faye Cahill of Faye Cahill Cake Design is one of the world's most influential cake artists.  Based in Sydney, Australia she is renowned for her elegant and contemporary styles of wedding cakes which regularly grace the covers of renowned bridal magazines.

She shares her fabulous skills on embellishing cakes on Craftsy and travels the world teaching beautiful sugarcraft techniques.   We are delighted that Faye joins us in Glasgow to teach from her stunning range of wedding cakes and sugar flowers courses.

Jacqueline Butler

Jacqueline Butler of Petal sweet  is a former wedding cake artist turned sugarcraft tutor based in San Diego, California. Renowned for her beautifully sophisticated sugar flowers in soft pastel shades and modern flower arrangements, her work is regularly seen in international publications and across social media.

Author of the best selling book Modern Sugar Flowers, she can also be seen on Craftsy sharing her expertise.  Jacqueline travels extensively teaching from her range of beautiful, contemporary and elegant sugar flowers. We are always delighted to welcome her to the kitchen.

Maggie Austin

Following her career as a classical ballet dancer, Maggie Austin completed the prestigious L’art de la Pâtisserie programme at the French Pastry School with honours. She brought her unique artistic vision to life when she launched Maggie Austin Cake in 2010 and has since reached an international audience. From White House Christmas celebrations and Hollywood parties to royal weddings, Maggie is honoured to work with prestigious clients all over the globe. Her designs display symmetry, elegance, and sophistication with the subtle yet unmistakable mark of haute couture.

Her book Maggie Austin Cake: Artistry and Technique is a best seller and she can be seen on Craftsy.  We love having Maggie here to share her expertise with our students.

Sharon Wee

Sharon Wee creates fun cakes that make us smile as well as elegant and pretty ones in beautifully muted colours. Based in Sydney, Australia she started creating cakes for family and friends before starting her own cake decorating business. Her work regularly features in international cake magazines, her three video tutorials on Craftsy are extremely popular and her book  'Adorable Cakes for all Occasions' is a best seller.  She is in great demand to teach worldwide and we are delighted that Sharon is coming to our kitchen to teach two of her most cute cakes: Unicorn and Baker Bear.

Zoe Hopkinson

Zoe Hopkinson of Zoe's Fancy Cakes based in Leeds, is an award winning cake designer specialising in wedding cakes and sugar modelling.  She runs free cake decorating tutorials on You Tube which are aimed at helping budding cake enthusiasts improve their skills in sugarcraft.  Her work is often seen in international publications.

Zoe travels extensively sharing her expertise and we are delighted that she comes to our kitchen to teach sugar modelling.
