Ceri DD Griffiths

Ceri DD Griffiths of is one of the leading 'lights' in modern royal icing techniques and believes that there is no limit to learning in life.

Trained as a Master Baker and Confectioner, and in cake design, he is a multi award winner in cake design.

The author of two books on royal icing: 'Squires Guide to Making Iced Flowers' and 'Squires Guide to Making More Iced Flowers', his award winning work regularly features in cake decorating magazines.

He travels the world teaching his craft as well as running is own cake decorating school in Wales; the Cardiff Bay Studio.

He teaches contemporary English Overpiping on Craftsy too.  We are delighted that Ceri teaches modern Royal Icing techiques in our kitchen.

Ellen Redmond

Ellen Redmond of Splendor - Cakes and more is based in County Wicklow, Ireland and, with an interest in art and sculpture, her cakes have been described as elegant, creative and highly detailed.

She gained silver and gold awards in the Irish National Sugarcraft Show in Dublin in 2014 followed by two gold awards and Best in Class for her wedding cake design in the same event held in Cork in 2015.

Her work has featured in the American online Cake Central Magazine and she is now in demand to teach across the country. We are delighted to welcome Ellen to the kitchen to share her amazing skills in wafer paper.

Faye Cahill

Faye Cahill of Faye Cahill Cake Design is one of the world's most popular and influential cake artists.

Based in Sydney, Australia she is renowned for her elegant and contemporary style of wedding cakes which regularly grace the covers of renowned bridal magazines.

She shares her fabulous skills on embellishing cakes via Craftsy and travels the world teaching the most beautiful sugarcraft techniques.

We are delighted that Faye joins us in Glasgow to teach from her stunning range of wedding cake courses.

Jacqueline Butler

Jacqueline Butler is a wedding cake designer and sugar artist based in San Diego, California, under the business name Petalsweet Cakes.

She teaches sugar flowers internationally, including the USA, Australia, Europe and Asia. She's known for her sophisticated flowers in soft pastel shades, modern flower arrangements and the ability to break down the flower-making process into achievable steps, leading to beautiful results.

Makiko Searle

Makiko Searle of Makis Cakes in Surrey is the designer of her fabulous signature 'Japanese Kanzashi', and 'Temari' cakes which are completely spherical cakes inspired by the one thousand year old Japanese craft of threading silk into a ball to create a child's toy.

A law graduate and trained in food art and patisserie in Japan, Maki has gained many awards for her baking and beautiful sugarcraft work.

Her work is regularly seen in cake decorating magazines and she is also the author of Cakes to Fall in Love With.

She shares her expertise worldwide and is always in demand. In our kitchen Maki teaches students how create her stunning signature Japanese style of cake decorating.

Sharon Wee

Sharon Wee creates fun cakes that make us smile as well as elegant and pretty ones in beautiful muted colours. Based in Sydney, Australia she started creating cakes for family and friends before starting her own cake decorating business. Her work regularly features in international cake magazines, her three video tutorials on Craftsy are extremely popular and her book  'Adorable Cakes for all Occasions' is a best seller. She is in great demand to teach worldwide and we are delighted that Sharon is coming to our kitchen to teach two of her most cute cakes!

Zoe Hopkinson

Zoe Hopkinson of Zoe's Fancy Cakes is an award winning cake designer in wedding cakes and sugar modelling.

She also operates a free You Tube channel aimed at helping budding cake enthusiasts improve their cake decorating techniques.

She travels the world sharing her expertise and we are really pleased that she comes to our kitchen to teach sugar modelling.
